Joanne Henry and her niece started their wonderful charity One Pencil at a Time to collect much needed school supplies for children who are unable to get their own.

Joanne was kind enough to purchase 10 copies of our World and add it to their donations for 10 kids, who will get to enjoy our story!

This is my first ever children’s book, which I hope you will enjoy reading as well as sharing the pictures taken by me, of my dear pets, Taz and Bugsy. They are truly inseparable, and have a deep and simple love for one another. Through their story, they show that you can accept and love others even if they are different than us, to do it through patience, understanding and caring. They also help show young readers to overcome their fears as well with the help of those who care about you!

They inspired me to write about my own personal experiences growing up, feeling the need to be accepted for who I was. With the world today we need to be kind to one another and care for one another!
